Whats the challenge
KMT, a global leader in the manufacturing of high-pressure pumps for the waterjet cutting industry, faced a significant challenge: developing an innovative app in record time that could adjust parameter settings and enable high-pressure pump monitoring. The time pressure was immense, as the first version of the app was scheduled to be presented at Blechexpo in Stuttgart (October 26–29, 2021) – with only six weeks left before the trade show.
How do we help them ?
Despite the demanding requirements, our team successfully developed the app within this tight timeframe. From initial concept to design and completion of the beta version (without backend), it took only six weeks. The app enables users to efficiently control the parameters of high-pressure pumps and monitor their condition.
The swift completion of the app allowed KMT to present a true highlight at Blechexpo. This provided KMT with a significant competitive advantage, as most competitors have yet to offer comparable pump monitoring technology.
The Result and Outlook
The app was successfully presented at the trade show and garnered significant interest. It represents an important step in the digital transformation of the waterjet cutting industry and will help KMT strengthen its position as an innovation leader.
The app is currently being further developed and perfected. In the future, it will be an integral part of the latest and upcoming generations of KMT Waterjet pumps – a testament to how technological innovation and speed help KMT maintain its competitive edge and create added value for its customers.
