During our research, we came across an article that accurately describes a highly topical issue: the failure of IT projects.
52% of IT projects have at least partially failed to meet the wishes and requirements of the client. 19% of projects are a total loss and have been aborted. Only 29% of the projects examined were completely successful.
While technology is developing daily, one gets the impression that not much has changed in terms of project management. The causes can be found again and again and certainly have to do with the fact that projects consist of mixed teams of technical experts and technical implementers and the processes between the actors are not “ground in”. The problems are manifold, but some stand out: a lack of clear goals and the requirements derived from them. But this deficiency can be remedied relatively easily if the tools and/or know-how are available.
In recent years, we have built up extensive know-how in precisely this area. This is also the feedback we get from our customers and even from corporate departments. We have invested in the methodology there, as well as in our own tool “iCore.UseCaseBuilder AI”, which is currently being tested and uses AI to automatically complete and significantly support the technical/specialist definition.
